    Actually, they can’t – otherwise they will break backward compatibility. but I also expected a complementary header to fix that…
    Is too bad that even now, when Arduino claims to be a prototyping board for everyone, don’t allow rapid prototyping using perfoboard, the most common PCB board for the electronics hobbyists…
    Anyway, I hope this will be fixed on an upgraded version of UNO.
